Role Description This part-time hybrid role as an IT Sales Manager (Software) at METAL DECO CONAKRY is based in Melbourne, VIC, with flexibility for some work from home. The IT Sales Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities for software solutions, manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and maintain robust relationships with existing accounts.

Daily responsibilities include generating and qualifying leads, preparing and delivering product presentations and proposals, and negotiating pricing and contract terms in alignment with company guidelines. The role also involves collaborating with technical teams to align solutions with client needs, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and reporting on sales performance and pipeline progress to management.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong IT Sales skills, with proven experience selling software or technology solutions.




- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Information Technology to understand software products and client environments.
- Candidates should possess effective Lead Generation capabilities, including prospecting, outreach, and qualification of potential clients.
- Candidates should possess Account Management skills to build, maintain, and grow long-term customer relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident presentation abilities.
- Candidates should ideally have experience with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic data analysis.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Candidates should have prior experience in B2B software sales or technology-related industries; a relevant diploma or degree in Business, IT, or a related field is beneficial.
