Role Description This part time hybrid role as an IT Support Civil Servant (Entry / Junior Level) with Asociación Mexicana de Almacenamiento, Electrificación y Movilidad is based in New South Wales, Australia, with some work-from-home flexibility. The position involves providing first-line technical assistance to staff, resolving common hardware and software issues on desktop computers, and supporting basic network connectivity. Daily tasks include responding to help desk tickets, troubleshooting user problems, installing and configuring standard applications, and escalating complex issues to senior IT personnel when needed.

The role also includes maintaining accurate records of support requests, following established IT procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement of support processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with colleagues, communicate clearly with non-technical users, and adhere to public sector policies and data security guidelines.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Technical Support and Help Desk Support to assist end users and manage support requests.
- Candidates should possess practical skills in Troubleshooting and Desktop Computers to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Candidates should possess basic knowledge of Information Technology principles, including operating systems, standard office applications, and network fundamentals.
- Candidates should possess strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant education or training in IT, computer science, or a related field (certificate, diploma, or degree) is beneficial.
- Experience in a junior IT, help desk, or customer support environment, including internships or volunteer roles, is an advantage.
- Ability to work within public sector frameworks, follow documentation and procedures, and maintain confidentiality and data security.
