Totally Smiles Indooroopilly is on the lookout for a friendly and professional dental receptionist to join our busy, patient-focused practice on a full time basis including Saturdays. We are a modern practice offering a wide range of treatments from general check ups to cosmetic treatments.
n As the first point of contact, you'll play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming experience for every patient who walks through our doors. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in providing excellent customer service.
n The role is predominantly reception-focused, with flexibility to support sterilisation and dental assisting as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, check them in and out, and manage appointment scheduling.
n
- Administrative Support: Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries, providing information about treatments and addressing patient concerns or complaints.
n
- Billing and Insurance: Process payments, manage billing inquiries,



and assist patients with payment plans and verification.
n
- Records Management: Maintain patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance within regulations.
n
- Office Organisation: Keep the reception area tidy and organised, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and available.
n
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication between front and back office.

What Do You Need To Succeed

n

n
- Prior experience is essential
n
- A Cert III or IV in Dental Assisting is beneficial but not mandatory
n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
n
- Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and manage time effectively in a quick-paced environment
n
- Capability to address patient concerns and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
n
- Attention to detail
