Database Engineer - NV1 Clearance Required

Contract until September 2027 - Likely to extend

NV1 Security Clearance mandatory

We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to design, develop and optimise data platforms, pipelines and integration solutions.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines
n
- Develop and optimise ETL/ELT processes
n
- Support batch and near-real-time data processing
n
- Work with data architects and analysts
n
- Ensure data quality, security and performance
n
- Support cloud data platforms, data lakes and warehouses
n
- Troubleshoot data pipeline and performance issues
n
- Contribute to automation, monitoring and CI/CD
n

n

Key Requirements

n

n
- 5+ years' Data Engineering experience
n
- Robust ETL/ELT and SQL skills
n




- Relational and NoSQL database experience
n
- Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse or equivalent
n
- Data modelling and performance optimisation
n
- CI/CD and DevOps experience
n
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
n
- Active NV1 Security Clearance - mandatory
n
