KingKira Group is expanding our Industrial Services & Booms team and we’re seeking experienced

Placing Boom Operators. You’ll operate our articulated, high‑pressure water booms — including remote‑controlled units — to safely clear blockages, conduct heavy‑duty breakout work, and support shutdowns across major WA mining operations.

This role suits operators who thrive in high‑demand environments, value safety above all, and can work confidently with cutting-edge, purpose‑built equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate water‑powered articulated placing booms for industrial cleaning and breakout scopes
- Conduct safe remote boom operations in restricted or hazardous zones
- Complete pre‑starts, equipment inspections and hazard controls
- Maintain strong communication with supervisors and shutdown crews
- Follow all site procedures, isolation requirements and emergency protocols




- Support additional industrial services tasks as required

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

- High Risk Work Licence – HRWL (PB)
- White Card (CPCWHS1001)
- Confined Space (RIIWHS202E)
- Working at Heights (RIIWHS204E)
- Demonstrated experience operating water booms or high‑pressure boom equipment
- Strong safety focus and understanding of mine‑site requirements
- Ability to work in fast‑paced shutdown environments
- Reliable, team‑oriented and committed to safe delivery
- Must have full working rights in Australia to apply
