We are currently hiring for experienced Underground Jumbo Operatorsto join ourFreeport Indonesia Project in Central Papua. With flights provided from your point of hire to site, choose between an 8/4 or 6/3 roster, with 12-hour shifts.

Roles and Responsibilities:





- Drilling and bolting of incline, decline, drift and mass excavation; primarily face drilling
- Ground support, consisting of bolt and mesh
- Identify and remedy misfires
- Conduct prestart checks of equipment and drill site.
- Monitor and operate the drill rig control panel.
- Read and follow worksheets and drill patterns
- Ensure that work is carried out through adherence to specifications, schedules, and standards
- Training of national employees

Skills and Certificates Required:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating Underground Jumbos (preferably Sandvik D422i series)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Copies of relevant RPLs or VOCs
- Familiar with hard rock mining techniques
- Be safety-focused and have a positive can-do attitude
- Must have extensive experience in a high-speed development setting
