Role Description This full-time remote Junior Business Analyst / Graduate Business Analyst role supports the Age-Friendly Innovation Center’s projects with analytical, documentation, and coordination activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and clarifying business requirements from stakeholders, mapping and documenting business processes, and assisting in the design of improvements that support age-friendly initiatives.
The role involves conducting basic data analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and contributing to project plans and status updates. The analyst collaborates with faculty, staff, and community partners, maintaining clear communication channels and helping ensure that project deliverables are aligned with goals. The position also includes supporting process evaluations, organizing information in accessible formats, and participating in continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support evidence-based recommendations.
- Candidates should possess foundational business analysis skills, such as gathering business requirements, documenting user needs,
and supporting solution design.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess understanding of business process concepts, including process mapping, workflow documentation, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Candidates should possess skills in eliciting and organizing business requirements, translating needs into structured documentation and simple functional descriptions.
- Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s or graduate degree (completed or in progress) in Social Work, Business, Public Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Beneficial skills include familiarity with basic data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization), project coordination, and interest in age-friendly and community-focused initiatives.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to inclusive, equitable practices.
