Role DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of reliable data infrastructure and pipelines. The role involves collecting, transforming, validating, and organizing data from various sources to ensure it is accessible, accurate, and ready for analytics and business applications. You will assist with building ETL/ELT workflows, maintaining data pipelines, troubleshooting data quality issues, and supporting databases and data platforms.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical mindset, enjoys working with data, and is eager to learn contemporary data engineering practices while contributing to efficient, scalable, and well-documented data solutions.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of databases, data structures, SQL,



and fundamental data engineering concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python or another programming language.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, relational databases, and data modeling.
- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, data warehouses, APIs, or distributed data processing is advantageous.
- Familiarity with tools such as Git, Airflow, Spark, or similar technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, logical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and collaborate effectively with data, engineering, and business teams.
- Proactive learning mindset, adaptability, good communication skills, and strong interest in data technologies and modern engineering practices.
