We're seeking a motivated Junior IT Project Manager to join a high-performing technology team and help deliver a range of IT initiatives. This opportunity is ideally suited to someone with 2-5 years of project management experience who enjoys variety, can adapt quickly to changing priorities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for coordinating multiple small to medium-sized projects, working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and vendors to achieve successful outcomes.
About the Role
You'll take ownership of project planning, coordination and delivery activities across a portfolio of IT projects. Success in this role will come from your ability to stay organised, communicate effectively and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent IT projects and workstreams.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and status reports.
- Coordinate project activities across business and technology teams.
- Monitor risks, issues and project dependencies.
- Support project governance and reporting requirements.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and project meetings.
- Assist with testing, implementation and project delivery activities.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
About You
- 2-5 years' experience in Project Management, Project Coordination or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Comfortable managing several projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
- Experience working within an IT or technology workplace.
- Exposure to Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies is advantageous.
