Junior Production Manager – Southside Sign Service

We’re looking for a motivated Junior Production Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with hands‑on workshop experience who’s looking to move off the tools and step into a production‑focused coordination and sales role. You’ll assist with scheduling, job management, fabrication oversight, quoting, and ensuring projects move smoothly from approval through to installation.

What you’ll be doing:

- Supporting day‑to‑day production planning and workflow
- Coordinating with fabricators, installers, and suppliers
- Preparing quotes and assisting with sales enquiries
- Liaising with customers to confirm job details, timelines, and approvals
- Checking job specs, materials, and quality standards
- Helping maintain timelines and cost‑effective outcomes
- Communicating with clients and internal teams
- Using CorelDRAW, SignLab,



and Trello to manage artwork, production tasks, and workflow tracking

What we’re looking for:

- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- A hands‑on, practical mindset
- Someone transitioning from a workshop or fabrication role and wanting to grow into production management
- Confidence in customer communication, quoting, and basic sales support
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced workshop environment
- Great communication and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with CorelDRAW, SignLab, and Trello (or similar software)
- Experience in signage, fabrication, or similar industries is a bonus
