About the role

Sushi on Fire Narellan is a busy, high-quality sushi restaurant dedicated to serving fresh, delicious food. We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Maker to join our team and help us deliver exceptional, beautifully prepared dishes to our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and roll a variety of high-quality sushi, including maki and nigiri
- Cook and season sushi rice to the correct consistency and flavor
- Maintain a spotless, organized, and sanitary workstation in compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to ensure fresh ingredients are always available
- Work efficiently during peak service hours to ensure orders are fulfilled quickly and accurately

About you





- Previous experience working as a Sushi Maker or in a similar kitchen role is highly preferred
- Solid knife skills and an eye for presentation and detail
- The ability to work fast while maintaining high standards of quality in a busy workplace
- Positive attitude, communicate well with the front and back-of-house teams, and ready to pitch in where needed
- Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and busy evening shifts
