Experienced Kitchen Hand - Café & Wedding Functions The Chapel at Montville | Montville, QLD | Part-time / Casual

We're a premium wedding venue in the Sunshine Coast hinterland with a café operating alongside our function business. Our food is a genuine part of what couples book us for seasonal menus, proper plating, and a small kitchen team that takes it seriously.

We're looking for an experienced kitchen hand to support our chef across both sides of the business.

The role

- up to 4 days per week in the café, prep, service support, cleaning, stock rotation
- Saturday nights for wedding functions, plating support, pass work, keeping the kitchen moving under pressure

- Working directly alongside the chef

What we're after

- Previous kitchen hand experience, ideally in quality dining or a venue with function work




- Plating experience or a valuable eye for presentation

- Someone who's worked a function service and knows what 100 plates going out at once feels like
- Reliable, clean, and quick, the café days are steady, the Saturdays are intense
- Own transport (we're in the hinterland, public transport isn't realistic)
