The Opportunity

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join the talented kitchen team at Hellenika.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a fast-paced team and takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.

Your Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play an important role in supporting the chefs and ensuring the kitchen operates smoothly throughout preparation and service.

Your responsibilities will include

- Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen
- Keeping washing and storage areas clean and well organised
- Assisting with basic food preparation when required
- Ensuring equipment and supplies are available during service
- Supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team during busy services




- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Removing waste and maintaining clean back-of-house areas
- Completing cleaning duties efficiently and to a high standard

About You We’d love to hear from you if you have:

- Previous experience as a Kitchen Hand in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment
- A strong work ethic and willingness to assist the team
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent reliability and punctuality
- A positive, professional and team-focused approach
- Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene and organisation
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Full working rights in Australia
