Key Responsibilities

- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness across the kitchen, including benches, floors, equipment and storage areas.

- Wash, sanitise and correctly store dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.

- Assist chefs with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting and portioning ingredients.

- Receive, unpack and correctly store deliveries.

- Keep fridges, freezers, dry stores and kitchen areas organised.

- Empty bins and maintain waste and recycling areas.

- Assist with end-of-service kitchen cleaning and closing duties.

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures.

- Support chefs during busy service when required.

- Maintain a clean and organised workstation at all times.

- Work efficiently as part of a professional kitchen team.

Pay: $26.44 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38.0 per week
