As part of our continued growth, our Brisbane operation, strategically located near the Port of Brisbane, is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Business Development Manager.

n

Our Brisbane operation specialises in a broad range of logistics solutions, including international freight forwarding, 3PL, project logistics, warehousing and tailored supply chain solutions.

This position presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional who wants to work with a progressive organisation, develop strong industry relationships and play an important role in the continued growth of our Brisbane and national operations.

n

The successful applicant will ideally be able to demonstrate:

n

A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar Business Development role, preferably within the East Coast Australian logistics market.

n

Demonstrated experience developing new business opportunities across 3PL, freight forwarding, warehousing and logistics services.

n

Strong knowledge of the international freight forwarding and logistics industry.

n

The ability to identify,



develop and convert recent business opportunities.

n

The ability to build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders.

n

A high level of customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.

n

The ability to coordinate and manage relationships nationally with customers, suppliers, operational teams and other parties associated with the business.

n

Strong negotiation, presentation and commercial relationship-management skills.

n

The ability to develop exceptional stakeholder relationships and effectively resolve issues to achieve quality outcomes.

n

An ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across systems, processes, practices and the use of resources.

n

Experience managing customer contracts, service expectations and relevant KPIs.

n

The ability to troubleshoot operational and commercial issues in collaboration with internal teams.

n

A commitment to innovation and identifying better ways of delivering value to customers.

n

An understanding of the importance of complying with applicable Australian and international logistics requirements and regulations.

n

A strong commitment to workplace health and safety, including complying with safe work practices, procedures and incident-reporting requirements.
