The Role

As a Leading Hand, you will coordinate site activities and support your crew to deliver projects safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You'll work closely with our Construction Manager and Project Coordinator to keep jobs moving, crews organised and clients receiving a professional experience from start to finish.

This isn't a role for someone who stands back and points fingers. We're looking for someone who leads by example and takes ownership.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Leading and coordinating your roofing crew
- Keeping projects on track and organised
- Maintaining high safety and quality standards
- Communicating with the Construction Manager and Project Coordinator
- Mentoring apprentices and developing team members
- Building robust relationships with clients and the Sentinel team
- Taking ownership of issues and finding practical solutions

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:
- Has proven experience as a Leading Hand or Senior Commercial Roofer
- Leads by example
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Communicates clearly and confidently
- Is organised, reliable and solutions-focused
- Holds a White Card and relevant roofing qualifications
- Has a current driver's licence
