About the opportunity

n

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Project Manager to lead New Product Development (NPD) projects within a growing medical technology environment. This role will take ownership of complex, cross-functional projects from initial planning through development and commercialisation, working closely with Product Development, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Marketing and Commercial teams.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead New Product Development projects (Medical Technology/ Software) from initiation through to commercialisation
n
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, resources and deliverables
n
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Commercial functions
n
- Identify project risks, dependencies and potential roadblocks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
n
- Drive accountability across project teams to ensure key milestones and deliverables are achieved
n
- Facilitate project meetings,



cross-functional reviews and stakeholder updates
n
- Develop project dashboards, KPIs and reporting to track progress and communicate key risks
n
- Provide clear project updates and presentations to senior stakeholders
n
- Manage multiple priorities and projects within a fast-paced environment
n
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes and tools
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Bachelor Degree, Masters or MBA preferred
n
- Demonstrated experience managing Current Product Development projects
n
- Experience successfully leading projects through the product development lifecycle and commercialisation
n
- Medical device, medical technology or healthcare industry experience is highly desirable
n
- Experience within another highly regulated product development environment will also be considered
n
- Strong project planning, risk management and stakeholder management capability
n
- Proven ability to coordinate and influence multidisciplinary teams without direct authority
n
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
n
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
n
- PMP certification would be advantageous
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong focus on delivering projects on time, within scope and to a high standard
n
