Legal Counsel | 3–7 Years PAE

Broad in-house role. Global business. Excellent senior legal team.

We're working with the Australian operations of a major global business looking to add a Legal Counsel to its established Brisbane legal team.

This is a broad commercial role suited to a lawyer who enjoys variety and wants to be close to the operational side of a large business.

The work will include

- Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Procurement, supply and operational agreements
- General commercial and regulatory advice
- Managing discrete commercial disputes and insurance matters
- Supporting internal investigations conducted under privilege
- Assisting with compliance, policies and training The compliance component is only part of the role. The majority is general commercial legal work, working directly with stakeholders across a large and complex operating business.

About you

You'll ideally have around 3–7 years' PAE with strong commercial contracting skills gained in a leading law firm or in-house environment.





You'll be commercially minded, comfortable dealing directly with stakeholders and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where the legal team gets involved in a wide variety of issues.

Property, procurement or regulatory experience would also be useful, but isn't essential.
