Role Overview

Joining a high-performing Corporate Legal team, you will provide legal advice across investments, funds management, life insurance, superannuation and broader financial services matters. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you'll support strategic business initiatives, product development, regulatory matters, investments and commercial transactions while helping the business navigate a complex regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide commercially focused legal advice across investments, funds management and life insurance matters
- Partner with senior stakeholders to identify risks and deliver practical legal solutions
- Support product development and distribution activities across the business
- Advise on transactions, investments and strategic initiatives
- Interpret and communicate complex legal and regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance on governance, compliance and regulatory obligations
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
- Drive continuous improvement across legal processes and practices

Skills & Experience

- Qualified lawyer with 3–7 years PQE
- Prior investments or funds management legal experience is essential
- Experience within financial services, ideally with exposure to life insurance or superannuation




- Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide pragmatic legal advice
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Unrestricted practising certificate
- Open to first movers from private practice with relevant funds management or investments experience
