About the role

Working as part of the site maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and repairing electrical equipment across a busy manufacturing facility. This is a full-time shift maintenance role at a manufacturing facility on the Central Coast, NSW, operating on a 4-week rotating lifestyle roster consisting of both 12-hour day and night shifts, with multiple consecutive rostered days off.

Key responsibilities

- Electrical breakdown response and fault finding
- Preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Maintenance of industrial machinery and production equipment
- Motors, contactors, motor control and associated equipment
- VSD fault finding and replacement
- Sensors, switches and instrumentation
- Control circuits and industrial electrical systems
- Basic PLC fault finding and diagnostics
- Electrical isolations and LOTO
- Electrical installation and modification works

About you

- Current NSW Electrical Licence – Essential
- Current Australian driver's licence




- Previous industrial electrical experience
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills
- Experience working within manufacturing, processing or production environments
- Experience with motors, VSDs, control circuits and industrial machinery
- PLC fault-finding experience highly regarded
- Ability to diagnose breakdowns efficiently and work under pressure
- Solid understanding of electrical isolation and LOTO procedures
- Good communication skills and the ability to work within a maintenance team
