About the role

This is a hands-on role working across the farm, livestock and vineyard operations. The role will mainly focus on farm and machinery work, along with vineyard and general property maintenance. You'll be working as part of a small team across the Stein farm and vineyard, with plenty of variety and the opportunity to build your skills across different parts of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Operating tractors and farm machinery
- Slashing, mowing, mulching and spraying
- Fencing and general farm maintenance
- Livestock feeding, handling and general care
- Irrigation installation, maintenance and repairs
- Vineyard maintenance and seasonal work
- Trellis repairs and general vineyard upkeep
- Pruning, canopy management and harvest work
- General property improvements and maintenance

About you

- Previous farm,



agricultural or vineyard experience
- Confident working around machinery and tractors
- Good understanding of general farm work
- Reliable and punctual
- Practical with a robust work ethic
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Confident operating tractors and farm machinery
- Able to work outdoors in all conditions
- Physically capable of a hands-on role
- Current driver's licence holder
