About the role

We are seeking a Machine Operator / Assembly Worker to join our client based in Lonsdale, SA. This is a casual position offering straight shifts on days/afternoons. As a Machine Operator / Assembly Worker, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing operations, operating machinery and assembling components with precision and efficiency. Your work will directly contribute to the quality and productivity of our output, making you an essential part of our operations team.

What you'll be doing

- Operating industrial machinery and equipment in accordance with safety standards and operational guidelines
- Assembling components and products with attention to detail and accuracy
- Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults or issues to supervisors
- Conducting routine maintenance checks and cleaning of equipment as required
- Following production schedules and meeting quality standards consistently
- Ensuring workplace safety protocols are adhered to at all times
- Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications
- Contributing to a safe and collaborative work environment with colleagues

What we're looking for

- Previous experience as a machine operator or in an assembly role within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to operate machinery safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly key for casual shift work
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- A valid driver's license is preferable




- Experience with specific machinery or assembly processes is advantageous but not essential
