Norwest Anglican Church

Location: Baulkham Hills, NSW

Location type: On-Site

Date advertised: 27th August 2026

Job Type: Full time

Closing Date: 11th September 2026

At Norwest Anglican, we long to see Jesus as King of every heart and every home. We are a vibrant and growing evangelical church in Sydney’s north-west, ministering across multiple Sunday congregations, age and language ministries, and an emerging multisite context.

We’re seeking a godly, gifted and strategic leader to join our team in a combined role: leading Magnification across the whole church and directing Norwest’s communications function.

As Magnification Pastor, you will serve as an M-Pastor, shaping and stewarding our Magnification discipleship outcome across Norwest. You will lead through M-Reps, team leaders and ministry teams across music, gathered worship, production and creative ministry, helping ensure our Sunday gatherings and major church-wide gatherings serve the maturity of God’s people and support Norwest’s wider ministry vision.

As Communications Director, you will execute Norwest’s communications strategy and lead the people, channels, standards and systems that enable clear, timely and high-quality communication across the church. This includes oversight of our Communications Calendar, website, social and digital channels, brand application, major campaigns, and the development of capable communications teams.

This is a leader-of-leaders role. We are looking for someone who can build teams, develop leaders, establish clear standards and strengthen systems rather than becoming the person who personally delivers every Sunday service or produces every communication. You will need strong ministry judgement, creative and communications capability, strategic thinking, and the ability to work collaboratively across a large and increasingly multisite church.

The successful candidate will thrive in a church where ministry vision, creativity,

leadership development and organisational systems come together. You will be part of a supportive and collaborative team committed to reaching the lost, growing mature disciples and seeing every ministry flourish for His kingdom.
