Role Focus: Mainframe CICS & MQ Infrastructure Support.

Key Requirements & Experience:

10+ years of experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ environments.

Operations support for Mainframe CICS (CICS & MQ series).

CICS online resource definitions (terminals,



programs, bundles), defining new CICS regions.

CICS TS upgrades from lower to higher versions.

CICS Transaction Gateway, CICS WebServices, and CICSPlex operations.

Vendor product installation/upgrades, applying PTFs, and CICS SSL setup/troubleshooting.

Monitoring tools (CA SYSVIEW, Omegamon, Mainview).

CICSPlex setup (CMAS), MRO region setup, and troubleshooting.

WebSphere MQSeries on z/OS (v7.1 / v9.0), MQ Clustering, objects/channels/queues, and upgrades.

z/OS Connect and zIOA installation/configuration.
