Project Manager - New Lift Installations

$120,000+ base salary plus superannuation and a fully maintained company vehicle

Lead lift projects that improve access, mobility and how people use their homes and buildings

Tesla Elevators is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of our new lift installation projects across Victoria.

n

You will manage projects from Sales handover through planning, site readiness, installation, commissioning, final handover and commercial close-out, ensuring customers, builders, suppliers and internal teams have the information, coordination and support needed to deliver successful outcomes.

n

Lift experience preferred, but not essential

n

We welcome applications from Project Managers with experience in:

n

- Lifts and vertical transport
n
- HVAC and mechanical services
n
- Electrical, fire, BMS, controls or specialist building services
n
- Other technical installation environments
n

n

If you understand complex installations, construction interfaces, subcontractor coordination, commissioning and commercial project delivery, your experience may transfer well.

Tesla Elevators delivers tailored lift solutions across Victoria, including home lifts, accessibility lifts, commercial lifts and goods lifts. Approximately 80% of our projects are residential, with the balance across commercial and goods-lift installations.

Each project requires practical problem-solving around client requirements, building conditions, site constraints and installation challenges.

This role manages multiple projects at different stages and involves working with homeowners, builders, developers, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and technicians.

The role

n

Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will:

n

- Manage assigned projects from Sales handover through to completion.
n
- Establish project programmes, site-readiness requirements, risks and delivery priorities.
n
- Coordinate clients, builders, suppliers, subcontractors, technicians and internal teams.
n
- Manage supplier lead times, equipment availability, deliveries and installation requirements to keep projects moving.
n
- Maintain visibility of costs, variations, delays, risks and commercial outcomes.
n
- Ensure safety, quality, documentation and commissioning requirements are managed.
n
- Identify issues early and drive practical solutions before they affect delivery.
n
- Improve project systems, processes and delivery standards as the business grows.
n

This is a project leadership role, not a field people-management position. You will control project-delivery priorities while working closely with the field team responsible for technician allocation.

What you will bring

n

n
- Proven project-management experience in lifts, HVAC, mechanical services or another specialist building-services environment.
n
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects through planning, installation, commissioning and handover.




n
- Strong capability in programme management, risk control, commercial awareness and stakeholder management.
n
- Practical understanding of construction interfaces, site readiness and specialist equipment installation requirements.
n
- Experience coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, deliveries and technical project requirements.
n
- Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
n
- A proactive approach to identifying risks, improving outcomes and delivering a positive customer experience.
n
- A valid driver licence, Australian work rights and a current White Card or the ability to obtain one.
n

A trade background or qualifications in engineering, construction management, project management or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

Location and hours

n

The position is based at our Braeside office and involves regular travel to projects throughout Victoria.

n

Typical working hours are 7.00 am to 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid lunch break. Occasional reasonable additional hours may be required to meet project commitments.
