Community Registered Nurse Mental Health

As a Community Registered Nurse – Mental Health at Richmind WA, you'll provide holistic support to people living with severe and complex mental health challenges, including those experiencing co-existing substance misuse.
n Your work will focus on:

- Conducting mental health triage, assessment, and crisis intervention.
n
- Supporting people's recovery journey by linking them with GPs, pharmacists, and other care providers.
n
- Delivering secure medication management and education.
n
- Advocating for consumers, promoting social inclusion, and reducing stigma.
n
- Building therapeutic relationships that respect dignity, boundaries, and recovery principles.

About You

n

You're a Registered Nurse who brings both clinical expertise and compassion. You'll have:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration (post-grad in Mental Health or Addictions desirable).
n
- Experience in mental health nursing, ideally in community settings.
n
- Strong assessment,



care planning, and medication management skills.
n
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a multidisciplinary team.
n
- A recovery-focused approach and genuine respect for diversity, including Aboriginal, CaLD, LGBTIQ+, and people with disabilities.
n

Essential checks: WA driver's licence, National Police Clearance, First Aid Certificate, and Working with Children Check.

n

This role is fixed term full-time role until June 2027 offering 75 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday)
