Great opportunity for an experienced Civil Labourer to join a busy local government team!

We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Labourer with a strong background in civil works to join a well-established team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for consistent hours and a 4-day working week, with Mondays off.

The Role

n

Working as part of a dedicated civil works team, you will be involved in a variety of civil maintenance and construction activities across the local area.

n

Key duties may include:

n

n
- General civil labouring and maintenance
n
- Concreting and concrete repairs
n
- Asphalt and road maintenance works
n
- Drainage works and maintenance
n
- General construction and site preparation
n
- Assisting trades and operators as required
n
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
n

n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

n

n




- Previous experience working in civil construction or civil maintenance
n
- Experience with concreting, asphalt and drainage
n
- A strong understanding of safe work practices
n
- Valuable physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual labour
n
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
n
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
n
- Truck Licence and Excavator Experience (highly desirable)
n
- White Card
n
- 2 x References
n
- Previous local government experience is advantageous but not essential
n
