CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced State Sales Manager to lead our Victorian Construction Equipment Sales team from our Campbellfield branch.

Reporting to the General Manager - Victoria, you'll drive sales growth, market share, profitability, and customer satisfaction across Victoria while leading and developing a high-performing team representing world-class brand Volvo Construction Equipment.

This role offers the perfect blend of leadership, strategy, customer engagement, and hands‐on sales management within one of Australia's leading equipment businesses.

What You'll Be Doing

n

- Lead and develop a successful statewide sales team.
n
- Drive new and used equipment sales growth across Victoria.
n
- Develop and execute sales strategies, budgets and market plans.
n
- Build strong relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
n
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market share.
n
- Monitor sales performance, profitability and KPIs.
n
- Collaborate with aftermarket, operations and OEM partners to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
n
- Travel throughout Victoria supporting customers, branches and your sales team.
n

What We're Looking For

n

- Significant proven sales leadership experience within construction equipment, capital equipment, transport, mining, agriculture or related industries.
n




- A strong track record of delivering sales growth and market share success.
n
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
n
- Commercially minded with strong budgeting, forecasting and reporting skills.
n
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship‐building abilities.
n
- High levels of drive, resilience and professionalism.
n
- Current Australian driver's licence (Heavy licence highly desirable)
n
- Experience with Volvo Construction Equipment or similar brands will be highly regarded.
