We are currently seeking a full-time Electrician to join our Electrical Department, supporting a range of government, commercial, and industrial maintenance contracts.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

- General preventative maintenance (RCDs, emergency lighting, push button testing)
- Upgrading electrical systems in commercial and government buildings
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
- Installation of general power and lighting
- Measuring and ordering materials for upcoming works

One of the key benefits of this role is our mobile, field-based system - there’s no need to report to the office each morning. You’ll travel directly from home to your first job of the day.

Requirements

- Current Electrical Trade Licence
- Minimum 3 years’ post-trade experience (preferred)
- Experience in government maintenance contracts and/or commercial environments (highly regarded)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Valid Police Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Construction White Card
- Ability to work both independently and within a team




- High standard of workmanship with strong attention to detail
- Own basic electrical tools (specialist tools provided by AWB)
- Strong IT skills, including experience using iPads and mobile job management systems (e.g. SimPRO – highly regarded)
- Clear verbal communication skills
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Additional tickets or certifications (advantageous)
- Positive, can-do attitude, with a strong work ethic
