Your new role

As a Maintenance Tradesman, you'll play a vital role in supporting the delivery of commercial projects across high-security sites such as Flinders Ports, Adelaide Airport, and the RAAF base. Working within a skilled and collaborative facilities team, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and minor works, including basic plumbing, carpentry, plasterboarding, and general building upkeep. The role requires either a multi-skilled background or a robust willingness to learn and adapt across various trade disciplines to meet the demands of diverse client needs.

Operating in sensitive environments, you'll be expected to uphold strict safety and compliance standards, often requiring clearances to work in controlled areas. Your work directly contributes to the company's reputation for reliability and responsiveness, ensuring assets remain operational and clients experience minimal disruption. What you’ll need to succeed

- Proven experience in a maintenance or trade-based role within commercial environments
- Multi-skilled or willing to learn across a range of trades including basic plumbing, carpentry, and plaster boarding
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a practical, hands-on approach
- Ability to work safely and effectively in high-security, operational environments
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and self-manage tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate within a team and with clients
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transport essential
- Ability to obtain and maintain site-specific clearances (e.g. airport, port, defence facilities)
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic aligned with a safety-first culture
- Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks across various work settings
