Role Description The Management Information System Executive is a part-time, remote role responsible for managing and maintaining MIS reporting processes and related information systems. In this role, the executive prepares, updates, and distributes regular management reports, dashboards, and performance summaries, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Daily tasks include collecting and validating data from multiple sources, analyzing trends and key metrics, and highlighting insights to support decision-making. The executive collaborates with relevant teams to understand reporting requirements, improve report formats, and troubleshoot data or system issues. The role also involves documenting reporting procedures, maintaining data standards, and recommending enhancements to MIS tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Information Systems and Management Information Systems (MIS).
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and experience in MIS Reporting.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and presenting insights.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in spreadsheets, dashboards, and basic data visualization tools.
- Candidates should possess robust attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Relevant education in Information Systems, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field is beneficial.
- Experience with database queries or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
