Role Description The Manager People and Business Services is a full-time, on-site role responsible for leading people, corporate, and business support functions. This position oversees human resources, workforce planning, WHS, records, customer service and staff engagement initiatives to support a positive, high-performing culture.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in people management, human resources, and workforce planning, including performance management and employee engagement.
- Proven capability in corporate governance, policy development, and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.




- Robust skills in business services coordination, including administration, records management, and customer service delivery.
- Experience in financial and operational management, such as budgeting, reporting, and resource planning.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships.
- Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business management, public administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in local government or a comparable public sector environment is highly regarded, along with familiarity with regional or community-focused organizations.
