Aerzen is a global technology leader delivering innovative, energy-efficient solutions for biological wastewater treatment. We work closely with water utilities, municipal operators, industrial customers, engineering consultants, & EPC contractors to optimise & improve process performance, reduce energy consumption & deliver solutions for sustainable outcomes.

We are looking for a solution-driven Manager – Water Systems for the Australia & New Zealand region, with deep expertise in biological wastewater process engineering and proven experience in technical solutions sales of engineered systems.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the leadership team, you will be responsible for developing & executing the ANZ water systems strategy while acting as a trusted advisor to customers, consultants & contractors.





You will work directly with wastewater treatment plants and influencers to identify operational challenges, develop technically robust solutions, influence project specifications and convert opportunities into successful outcomes.

This role suits a professional who enjoys combining differentiated engineering excellence with commercial success and wants to play a key role in shaping the future of Aerzen's water market presence across ANZ.

As part of our continued growth across Australia & New Zealand, we are seeking an experienced Manager - Water Systems ANZ to drive market development, technical solution sales & strategic customer engagement across the region.

This is a high-impact position combining process engineering expertise, commercial leadership, and industry relationship management.

What You’ll Do

· Visit municipal & industrial WWTPs and assess process performance as part of your technical sales role

· Identify operational challenges and develop solution concepts

· Influence technical specifications at early design stages

· Prepare and present technically sound proposals

· Interface with consulting engineers, contractors, and end users

· Represent the company at technical conferences and industry events

What We’re Looking For





· 7–10+ years in wastewater process design and/or business development

· Solid understanding of activated sludge systems, aeration, nitrification / denitrification

· Experience in process troubleshooting and plant-level discussions

· Ability to combine engineering depth with commercial drive

· Confident communicator with strong analytical mindset
