Brisbane | Casual with opportunity to progress | $45+ per hour + incentives
We’re looking for Brisbane’s most passionate skin clinician.
At SKYNN, we don’t just treat skin. We understand it.
We are a growing clinical skin clinic built around skin health, education, personalised treatment planning and achieving meaningful, long-term results for our clients.
We’re now looking for an experienced Dermal Clinician / Dermal Therapist who genuinely loves this industry — someone who wants to understand why a client’s skin is behaving the way it is, create a plan to change it, and be part of that journey from consultation through to transformation.
This isn’t a role for someone who simply wants to perform treatments and wait for their next booking.
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes skin.
Someone who gets excited about skin analysis, treatment planning, ingredients, modalities and clinical outcomes. Someone who continues learning because they genuinely want to know more. Someone who takes pride in their consultations, their documentation, their client relationships and the results they achieve.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who wants to contribute to something bigger than their treatment room.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you will hold qualifications in Dermal Therapy, Dermal Science or another relevant advanced skin qualification, with practical experience working within a clinical skin environment.
Experience with advanced modalities such as IPL, skin needling, RF, fractional technologies, professional peeling systems and skin analysis is highly regarded.
But qualifications alone aren’t what will make someone right for SKYNN.
We are looking for a clinician with genuine curiosity.
You should be someone who wants to understand skin rather than simply follow a treatment protocol. Someone who enjoys investigating why a client may not be progressing and is confident adjusting their approach rather than repeatedly performing the same treatment.
You should genuinely enjoy consultation and treatment planning rather than seeing consultation as something that simply happens before the treatment.
Strong communication is incredibly significant. Our clinicians need to be able to explain skin concepts in a way clients understand, build trust and confidently guide clients through longer-term treatment journeys.
Attention to detail is equally important. Clinical notes, photography, consent, treatment parameters, follow-up and documentation are considered part of excellent client care at SKYNN — not optional administration.
We also value initiative.
We are a growing clinic, which means we need people who are prepared to contribute, problem-solve, suggest ideas and participate in building the business rather than waiting to be told what to do
THE PERSON WE WOULD LOVE TO MEET
You may be the right fit for SKYNN if you are the clinician who finds yourself reading about skin outside work because you genuinely find it fascinating.
You love seeing before-and-after photographs because you know how much thinking and consistency went into achieving the result.
You enjoy creating treatment plans.
You care about the why behind a skin condition.
You want to work alongside other knowledgeable clinicians and continue developing your own skills.
You are comfortable receiving feedback and see high standards as an opportunity to become better at what you do.
You understand that building a loyal clientele requires more than performing a beautiful treatment — it requires relationships, communication, follow-up, education and consistency.
And you want to work somewhere that takes your profession seriously.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
Remuneration starts from $45+ per hour, with the final rate determined by your qualifications, experience, clinical capabilities and scope of practice.
Performance incentives are also available.
You will work with advanced clinical technology and professional treatment systems within a clinic that is actively investing in its skin division.
You will receive ongoing education, training and support and have the opportunity to expand your knowledge across multiple advanced modalities.
You will work within a team that values clinical excellence, professionalism, integrity, client care and genuine collaboration.
And importantly, there is real opportunity for progression.
For the right person who demonstrates strong clinical performance, client retention, initiative, teamwork and alignment with SKYNN’s standards, we want this role to grow with you.
OUR EXPECTATIONS
We set high standards because our clients trust us with their skin.
Our clinicians are expected to maintain excellent consultation and treatment standards, accurate clinical documentation, strong client communication and professional presentation.
We work toward measurable performance goals including consultation conversion, client retention and rebooking, home‑care recommendations and overall client outcomes.
These aren’t simply sales targets.
They help us understand whether our clients are engaging with their treatment plans, returning consistently and receiving the level of care we expect from SKYNN.
We want clinicians who take ownership of their clientele and genuinely want to see both their clients and the clinic succeed.

Highly regarded: Bachelor of Health Science (Dermal Therapies), Bachelor of Dermal Science, Advanced Diploma of Cosmetic Dermal Science, or equivalent tertiary/advanced dermal qualification.
Who We Are Looking For
This is initially a casual position, with genuine opportunity to increase hours and progress into a more permanent role for the right clinician.
You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive skin consultations, assessing client concerns, developing personalised treatment plans and delivering advanced clinical skin treatments within your qualifications and scope of practice.
However, being a SKYNN clinician extends beyond performing treatments.
You will educate clients about their skin, recommend appropriate home care, document treatment outcomes thoroughly, take consistent clinical photography, review progress and adapt treatment plans when required.
You will also contribute to client retention and clinic growth by following up clients, nurturing existing relationships, reconnecting with previous clients and leads, supporting clinic initiatives and identifying opportunities to build your own client base.
We believe that when there is time between clients, there is always an opportunity to contribute — whether that is following up a client, completing documentation, checking treatment plans, furthering your education, creating educational content, supporting the team or helping generate opportunities for the clinic.
We are looking for someone who naturally thinks this way.
Attributes and Characteristics of Applicant we are seeking
Passionate about skin health and genuinely motivated by achieving visible, long-term client results. Clinically minded, curious and committed to continually developing their knowledge of skin, ingredients, technologies and treatment modalities.
Confident in consultations and able to think beyond performing a treatment — someone who enjoys assessing the skin, identifying priorities, developing treatment plans and following a client’s progress over time.
Proactive and self‑motivated, with the initiative to identify what needs doing without constantly needing direction. Comfortable using quieter clinic time productively through client follow‑up, rebooking, lead nurturing, documentation, treatment planning and contributing to clinic growth.
Highly receptive to feedback and ongoing development, with a positive attitude toward clinical reviews, team education, protocols, performance expectations and accountability.
Warm, professional and emotionally intelligent with clients, while being confident enough to educate them, manage expectations and recommend what they genuinely need rather than simply what they ask for.
Detail‑oriented and consistent with clinical documentation, photography, treatment notes, hygiene, room preparation and clinic protocols.
A genuine team player who communicates openly, contributes positively to clinic culture and supports colleagues rather than creating division or negativity. Someone who takes genuine ownership of their role — their clients, their results, their standards and their contribution to the growth of the clinic
About SKYNN Clinic
SKYNN is a premium, diagnostic‑led clinical skin clinic in Brisbane, specialising in personalised, results‑driven skin health and advanced dermal treatments.
Our philosophy is simple: SKIN.SEEN. We believe exceptional results begin with understanding the skin first. Rather than taking a one‑size‑fits‑all approach or simply treating what is visible on the surface, our clinicians assess each client individually, identify contributing factors and develop progressive treatment plans designed around their skin, concerns and long‑term goals.
Our team works across acne and congestion, pigmentation, redness and sensitivity, scarring, ageing, collagen loss, texture and overall skin health using advanced skin analysis, clinical technologies, corrective treatments, professional home care and ongoing review.
The SKYNN Method combines clinical assessment, education, personalised treatment planning and continuity of care. Our focus is not simply on performing treatments, but on building healthier skin and meaningful, sustainable results.
Personalised. Holistic. Science‑Led.
We don’t just treat skin. We understand it.
