Job Description

We are seeking a technically strong DDI Design Engineer with deep expertise across DNS, DHCP, IP Address Management (IPAM), and DDI platforms. The role is focused on engineering and project-driven delivery, including the design, implementation, migration, troubleshooting, and support of DDI services across on-premises and cloud environments.

The successful candidate will have strong hands-on experience with enterprise DDI platforms such as EfficientIP or Infoblox, along with a solid understanding of DNS/DHCP architecture and cloud networking across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities

n

- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise DNS, DHCP, and IPAM (DDI) solutions.
n
- Develop and maintain DDI solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
n
- Work with DDI platforms such as EfficientIP SOLIDserver, Infoblox NIOS, or equivalent technologies.
n
- Design and manage DNS architecture, including:
n
- DNS hierarchy and architecture
n
- Master/slave and authoritative DNS
n
- Internal and external DNS
n
- DNS record types
n
- Zone transfers
n
- DNS forwarding
n
- Design and manage DHCP environments, including:
n
- DHCP relay
n
- DHCP scopes and address pools
n




- Lease management
n
- Static and dynamic reservations
n
- DHCP options and values
n
- Support IPAM implementation and integration with DNS and DHCP services.
n
- Troubleshoot complex DNS, DHCP, IPAM, and DDI-related incidents and service issues.
n
- Work closely with DDI vendors and technology partners to investigate and resolve complex technical problems.
n
- Participate in DDI migration, upgrade, consolidation, and transformation projects.
n
- Design DDI solutions to meet requirements for availability, scalability, security, resilience, and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
- Strong hands-on experience in DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
n
- Proven experience working with enterprise DDI solutions.
n
- Experience with EfficientIP, Infoblox, or similar DDI platforms.
n
- Strong knowledge of DNS architecture, hierarchy, delegation, forwarding, zone transfers, and troubleshooting.
n
- Solid understanding of DHCP protocols, scopes, relays, reservations, leases, and DHCP options.
n
- Experience integrating IPAM with DNS and DHCP.
n
- Experience designing and supporting on-premises DDI environments.
