About the Role We are looking for a creative and hands-on Marketing Officer to join our Strategy and Business Development team on a part-time maternity relief basis, working 15–20 hours per week.

We understand that flexibility matters. Within the requirements of the role, you'll have flexibility to choose the days and hours you work, making this an ideal opportunity for an experienced marketer looking for a role that can fit around other commitments.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager,



you'll work across Alkath Group's multiple brands, supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns, content and communications, digital marketing and industry events.

This is a varied and practical role where you'll be involved in marketing activities from planning through to delivery. You could be creating marketing collateral and presentations, drafting content for a product launch, updating our website, supporting an industry event or helping coordinate a marketing campaign.

You'll work with stakeholders from across the business to understand our products, capabilities and technical subject matter and turn that information into clear, engaging and professional communications.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and support marketing campaigns and activities from planning through to delivery across Alkath Group's multiple brands.
- Create engaging content and marketing collateral, including graphic design, presentations, digital content, media releases and company communications.
- Support digital marketing activities, including website content, LinkedIn and digital campaigns.
- Support product launches, exhibitions, conferences and other industry events,



including associated marketing materials and communications.
- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, consultants, agencies and suppliers to deliver high-quality marketing outcomes.
- Undertake market and competitor research and provide general marketing, campaign and bid/tender support as required.

About You You'll be a practical and creative marketing professional who enjoys variety, getting involved in the detail and producing high-quality work.

You'll bring

- A minimum of 3 years' hands-on marketing or communications experience.
- Strong content creation, copywriting, proofreading and editing skills, with a good understanding of brand consistency.
- Proficiency in Canva and PowerPoint, with experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
- Experience using WordPress or a similar content management system.
- Experience coordinating and delivering marketing activities and campaigns across a range of channels.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, external suppliers and consultants.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn about Defence and technical subject matter.
