Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for marketing, communications, photography and community engagement?

Overnewton Anglican Community College is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Marketing Officer at 0.8 FTE to support the delivery of the College's marketing, communications and community engagement activities.

This is a dynamic and diverse role where you will help showcase the vibrant life of the College through compelling content, visual storytelling, digital communications and events.

Working closely with the Community Engagement team and College Photographer, you will create and coordinate engaging content across a range of channels, including social media, the College website, publications, advertising campaigns and events. You will also capture photography and video content, helping bring the Overnewton experience to life for current and prospective families. The successful applicant will be organised, creative and comfortable working across a range of competing priorities.

They will be confident moving between marketing activity, content creation, administration and event support, and able to work independently when required.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include

- Create engaging written, photographic and video content across multiple platforms
- Support social media management and digital communications
- Coordinate the weekly College newsletter and contribute to major publications
- Capture and edit photography and video content at College events and activities
- Maintain digital asset libraries and ensure brand consistency




- Support website content updates and marketing campaigns
- Build strong relationships across the College to identify and develop content opportunities
- Assist with community engagement initiatives and College events
- Provide administrative support to the College Registrar and Volunteering Program

About You To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related discipline
- Experience in a marketing, communications or content-focused role
- Strong writing, editing and content creation skills
- Photography and basic videography experience
- Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
- Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital platforms

A current Working with Children Check (Employee) or willingness to obtain one is essential.
