Content Producer Intern (Scripting, Filming, Editing)

Intrix Cyber Security | Sydney (Hybrid) | Part-time internship The roleYou will join our marketing team to produce personal brand content for a cyber security founder who posts several times a week on LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok. Short-form video, talking-head pieces, and longer interview-style episodes cut into clips.

The work is split across scripting, filming and editing, and you will be involved in all three. Planning and creative direction are done with the marketing coordinator.

What you will doScripting

- Write scripts and hooks for short-form video
- Turn a technical topic into a script a general audience will watch
- Contribute ideas in weekly content planning sessions
- Build shot lists and run sheets with the team before filming days

Filming

- Help run studio shoots and on-location filming around Sydney
- Set up lighting, framing and audio
- Keep filming days on schedule against the shot list

Editing

- Cut short-form for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram
- Pull clip packages out of long-form interviews
- Build captions, lower thirds, thumbnails and easy motion graphics
- Turn around revisions on a cut within the same day where needed
- Keep footage organised: naming conventions, backups, a searchable asset library

What we need from youEssential

- Work we can watch. Personal projects, freelance jobs, uni assignments, or your own accounts.
- You have written something before,



not just edited someone else's script
- Fluent in one editing suite: Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut
- Able to operate a camera and get clean audio without supervision
- You hit deadlines and you tell us early when you cannot
- You can work through revision notes on your own edit
- Currently studying or recently finished in media, film, communications or design. Self-taught is fine if the work is there.

Useful, not required

- After Effects or motion design
- Sound mixing
- Experience editing for a channel with a regular posting schedule
- Experience on a shoot with a crew, or running one yourself
