The Company
Exodas is a well established and growing transport company carrying refrigerated and general freight. We run a fleet of late model and well maintained Kenworth, Volvo, and Scania trucks; and Vawdrey and Maxicube trailers.
We have been operating along the East Coast of Australia between Mareeba/Cairns and Melbourne for over 22 years. Head office is in Yatala (Queensland), with depots/yards in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.
The Roles
- Permanent Full time roles running between Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, North Queensland
- Based at Prestons
Exodas offers a competitive km rate, overnight allowances, and payment for loading/unloading. Home every week, with the option to stay away longer if you wish.
About you:
- Current MC Licence
- BFM
- Linehaul experience
- Can run on time doing overnight express (e.g 11 hours including breaks - Sydney to Brisbane)
- Can handle variety and the inevitable changes that happen
- Experience with general and refrigerated freight including loading and unloading
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Care and attention to looking after the freight and the equipment
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
