About Us

We’re a busy, family-run workshop in Salisbury that takes pride in doing things right — honest work, quality repairs, and great service. At Misch’s Mechanical, we look after everything from general servicing to diagnostics and major repairs on all makes and models. We’re looking for a senior-level, experienced Motor Mechanic with 5–7 years of hands-on workshop experience. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, completing high-quality repairs, and supporting the team when needed. This is a diverse role with plenty of independence and steady, reliable work.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform advanced diagnostics and fault-finding
- Carry out general repairs, servicing, and maintenance across all makes and models
- Complete major mechanical work (engine, suspension, brakes, cooling systems, etc.)
- Assist with mentoring junior staff if required
- Maintain workshop safety and cleanliness




- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Roadworthy inspections (not essential, but highly regarded)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Experience as a qualified Light Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic abilities and problem-solving skills
- Confidence working independently and efficiently
- High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- Reliable, honest, and professional attitude
- Current driver’s licence
- Additional certifications (AC licence, RWC inspector, etc.) are an advantage
