About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Hydraulic Technician to join our Kalgoorlie branch.

This is a hands-on role offering a combination of workshop and site-based work across the Goldfields region and surrounding areas, with occasional travel as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform general mechanical fitting and hydraulic service work
- Troubleshoot, fault-find and service hydraulic systems
- Repair and rebuild hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves and motors
- Assemble and commission components for current builds and engineered projects
- Maintain tools, equipment and housekeeping to high safety standards
- Provide mentoring and guidance to apprentices and trades staff
- Complete site service work and breakdown response as required

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter & Turner, Diesel Fitter or similar
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
- Experience in hydraulic systems (preferred, though training will be provided)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications




- Experience operating manual lathe and milling machines (desirable)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- You are safety-focused, proactive and take pride in delivering quality workmanship and professional customer service.
