The Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre is a specialist group practice located in St John of God Hospital Subiacoand Wexford Medical Centre Murdoch, and incorporating Assure Cosmetic Centre and the 1300HANDOChand trauma service.

Role: Full Time experienced Medical Secretary – 4-5 days per week (Monday to Friday) as part of a job share arrangement.

Location: This is an in-office position at our practice within the St John of God Medical Centre Subiaco.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:

- 3+ years medical secretary experience within a surgical specialty (preferably plastic or orthopaedic surgery);
- Genie Solutions practice software experience;
- Workers’ compensation experience;
- Good medical typing and literacy skills;
- Effective management and co-ordination of surgeon clinics and theatre bookings;
- Able to efficiently manage patient billing and account collection;




- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional phone manner and polished personal presentation.
- Strict adherence to maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
- A personable, friendly, and skilled attitude.
- Competence in using computer systems and software with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise duties, and manage time efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- An interest in the plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery field is a plus.
