What we need from you

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and professional team player who is looking to grow their culinary career and knows how to deliver great service and exceed Customers expectations. You will be working in a high paced and varied kitchen.

Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for:

- The preparation of high-quality foods for both production & catering
- Ensuring all food is delivered with-in service standards and time frames.
- Adhering to safety policies including OH&S;, HACCP & Safe Food Handling procedures
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic workspace
- Provide support to other kitchen staff.




- Ensuring correct stock rotation procedures are followed.

Experience with cooking Mediterranean cuisine is a must.

Skills and experience

- You must be qualified with minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chef in a similar role.
- You must hold a diploma-level qualification relevant to the occupation of Chef or alternatively demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge through relevant work experience in place of the qualification.
- Excellent cooking skills
- An open communication style
- Organisational skills to manage the orders during busy times.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to stay calm and overcome any food production problem.
