About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our aged care team in a 6-month contract position working 56 hours per fortnight.
n
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality overnight clinical care, providing clinical leadership, overseeing safe and effective medication management, and supporting care staff to ensure residents receive exceptional, person-centred care.

We are looking for a reliable and adaptable Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' nursing experience, previous experience in an In Charge role, confidence working independently on night duty, and a passion for delivering outstanding aged care. - Complete required funding assessments and clinical documentation accurately and efficiently,
ensuring compliance and supporting optimal funding and quality care outcomes.
n
- Maintain high-quality, contemporaneous documentation that accurately reflects care delivery and clinical decision-making
n
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Enrolled Nurses and Extended Care Assistants, supporting safe practice and skilled standards
n
- Always uphold confidentiality and ensure staff work safely and in accordance with organisational policies and procedures
n
- Provide clear, concise shift handover and reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, and identify training and development needs within the team
n

About You
n
n
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA, with no restrictions to practice
n
- Demonstrated clinical experience, preferably within aged care or a related healthcare setting
n
- Sound knowledge of aged care standards, legislation, and best practice
n
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and documentation skills
n
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
n
- Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including night duty, as required
n
