Releaf Dispensary Caloundra is seeking an experienced, motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead our established team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

About the Role

n

As Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while leading and supporting your team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Leading the daily operations of the dispensary and ensuring efficient workflow
n
- Supporting, mentoring and developing pharmacists and pharmacy assistants
n
- Providing professional patient counselling and medication advice
n
- Building strong relationships with patients and delivering a caring,



personalised experience
n
- Working closely with prescribers and clinic teams to support continuity of patient care
n
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy, state and federal legislative requirements
n
- Managing dispensary inventory, stock levels, ordering and stock control
n
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism and patient safety
n
- Supporting ongoing improvements to dispensary processes and operations
n
- Creating a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture
n

About You

n

We are looking for a pharmacist who enjoys both patient care and leadership and wants to play an important role in the continued growth of our Caloundra dispensary.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist
n
- Approximately 4+ years of pharmacy experience
n
- Previous leadership, management or Pharmacist-in-Charge experience
n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
n
- Confidence managing a busy dispensary environment
n
- A genuine patient-first approach to healthcare
n
- Robust problem-solving and decision-making skills
n
- An interest in medicinal cannabis and emerging areas of pharmacy practice
n

n

Previous medicinal cannabis experience is highly regarded but not essential. Training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
