Established in 2017, Lekker is a Melbourne-born creative agency where thoughtful content meets beautiful design. We work with a broad mix of clients across tech, B2B, education, not-for-profit, finance, and the health sector. We love turning complex ideas into meaningful, clever, visually engaging work.

Our projects span everything from punchy ad campaigns and brand identities through to publications, websites, events, motion graphics and more. Because we work across so many mediums, we balance creativity with clear communication, collaboration and rock-solid project management.

Description

Reporting to the Design Director, you’ll jump into a wide variety of day-to-day design work, ranging from digital and publication design to rolling out full brand identity suites. As a boutique agency, our projects are wonderfully diverse, so we need a true all-rounder who enjoys switching gears and flexing different creative muscles each day.

Agency or studio experience is essential. You’ll understand briefs, juggle stakeholders, manage timelines, and deliver polished work under pressure. Experience in health, tech or not-for-profit sectors is a bonus.

Core responsibilities

- Deliver highly polished design outcomes across digital, print, publication, collateral and experiential mediums
- Take the lead on projects where needed, problem-solving with empathy and always keeping “The Nice Agency” spirit alive




- Create engaging designs using existing brand guidelines across multiple platforms
- Conceptualise, design and roll out bold, impactful creative campaigns
- Research, conceptualise and refine brand identities, digital/web design, publications and more, while incorporating feedback from the Design Director and stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with other designers, sharing ideas, giving feedback and working together on multi-layered projects
- Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders when required
- Manage production needs, including liaising with printers, developers and other suppliers

About you

- Proven experience working within an agency or studio environment
- Tertiary qualifications in communication design or a related field
- Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Comfortable with modern web design approaches (Responsive Design, UI/UX) and Figma
- Adaptive, versatile and able to work at pace — we’re small but mighty, and we pull together when things get busy
- Able to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
- Solid understanding of finished art and print production
- A folio that showcases conceptual thinking, craft and creativity
- Confident communicating with stakeholders and presenting your work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
