About the role
Multi-Skilled Operators are sought to join a well-established Indigenous civil contractor delivering remote road construction and maintenance, bulk earthworks and pad construction projects. This is hands-on work in locations well off the beaten track and outside traditional mine-site environments. Operators must be comfortable working 12-hour shifts in hot, dusty and challenging remote conditions.
Key responsibilities
- Road construction and maintenance
- Bulk earthworks
- Pad preparation and construction
- Clearing, stripping, excavation and material movement
- Completing daily pre-starts and equipment inspections
- Looking after plant and reporting faults promptly
- Working safely and productively within a small remote crew
- Supporting other site activities when required
About you
- Minimum two years' recent operating experience
- Proven experience operating at least two types of civil plant
- Previous mining or remote civil experience
- Current Australian driver's licence
- Relevant plant tickets or evidence of competency
- Solid safety awareness and respect for equipment
- Ability to complete 12-hour shifts in remote conditions
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- A HR or HC licence will be highly regarded
