We are looking for an experienced and motivated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team at our modern clinic in Nuriootpa, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician with at least two years of experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive, collaborative and progressive clinical environment.

The role is initially offered on a permanent part-time basis, with approximately 25-30 hours per week, although the exact hours are negotiable for the right applicant. There is also genuine scope for the role and hours to grow over time as the caseload develops. Relocation assistance is available for eligible applicants and can be discussed as part of the employment package.

About the role

As a Physiotherapist, you'll provide high-quality assessment and treatment to a diverse and predominantly private caseload. The role will primarily involve one-on-one consultations, with some opportunity to be involved in small group exercise rehabilitation classes. You'll work closely with an experienced team of Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists and other Allied Health professionals, with regular opportunities for collaboration, mentoring and shared learning.

The role also provides an opportunity to become an important part of the local Barossa community, developing relationships with patients, referrers and other health professionals while helping to grow and shape the Physiotherapy service.

Key responsibilities

- Provide high-quality assessment and treatment to a diverse and predominantly private caseload
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with patients
- Involve in small group exercise rehabilitation classes




- Manage musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
- Support sports injuries and rehabilitation
- Provide post-operative rehabilitation
- Deliver exercise-based rehabilitation
- Manage persistent and chronic pain
- Work collaboratively with Physiotherapists, Podiatrists, Exercise Physiologists and other Allied Health professionals
- Develop relationships with patients, referrers and other health professionals

About you

- Current registration with AHPRA as a Physiotherapist
- At least two years of clinical experience
- Experience working in private practice is desirable, but not essential
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and clinical reasoning skills
- A commitment to evidence-based practice
- A genuine desire to learn, develop and contribute to a positive team culture
- Confident managing a broad musculoskeletal caseload
