Due to our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced National Retail Maintenance Business Development Manager to help expand our national retail client portfolio and develop long-term commercial relationships.

This is an opportunity for an experienced business development professional with a strong background in National Retail maintenance to play a key role in the company's continued growth.

The Role

As the National Retail Maintenance Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers and securing current national maintenance contracts.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop current business opportunities across the Australian retail and commercial maintenance market.
- Target national retailers, facilities management companies, property groups, government organisations and commercial clients.
- Build and maintain solid, long-term relationships with clients and key decision-makers.
- Generate new leads and convert opportunities into ongoing maintenance contracts.
- Develop and present tailored maintenance and facilities management solutions.
- Prepare and negotiate proposals, tenders, contracts and service agreements.
- Manage the business development pipeline from initial contact through to contract award.
- Attend client meetings, site meetings,



industry events and networking opportunities.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure new contracts are successfully mobilised and delivered.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and increase service coverage.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Contribute to the company's national growth strategy and revenue targets.

Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in the Australian national maintenance industry is essential.
- Proven business development experience within facilities management, commercial maintenance or construction.
- Existing relationships with national retailers, property groups, FM companies or commercial clients are highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop and convert new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of national maintenance and facilities management requirements.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to understand client requirements.
- Experience preparing and responding to tenders and RFPs is highly regarded.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of business development activities.
- Professional, confident and results-driven approach.
