Role Description This full-time, on-site Network Engineer role is based in Sydney, NSW.

The Network

Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure that supports integrated building and operational systems. Day-to-day tasks include configuring network devices, monitoring performance, diagnosing and resolving network issues, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity across customer environments. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to understand solution requirements, optimize network architecture,



and support project deployments.

The Network

Engineer will also contribute to documentation, network standards, and continuous improvement of network operations.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Network Engineering and Network Design to plan, implement, and optimize infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Network Administration and Troubleshooting to manage devices, monitor performance, and resolve issues.
- Experience with Network Security to safeguard data, systems, and connectivity in complex environments.
- Familiarity with smart building technologies, IoT devices, or integrated operational systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of common networking protocols, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless technologies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in office with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field is preferred.
